The Group Fitness Program at UCO exists to create a fun, safe and effective workout for individuals of all skills and fitness levels; and to help students, employees and community members lead happy and healthy lifestyles.
Wellness Center Group Fitness classes are FREE to all members of the UCO Wellness Center including students, faculty, and staff. The FREE Group Fitness classes do not require pre-registration and are available on a first come, first serve basis. Classes are designed so that participants can drop into any class format and receive safe and effective instruction.
The UCO Wellness Center Group Fitness Program also includes instructional fitness programs, which are non-credit fitness classes that provide personal enrichment, training and skill building, and are intensive in nature. Instructors for these classes are certified within their discipline and have many years of experience teaching. Instructional programs require pre-registration and fees.
Group Fitness activity areas include room 104 and 134 in the Wellness Center; and Cross Training Central "The Yard" located east of the Wellness Center.
