Cyber Security Training

In addition to data security, the Central community is encouraged to protect itself when operating in an online environment, whether on campus or at home. Each October, in conjunction with the EDUCAUSE / Internet 2 National Cyber Security Awareness Month, the UCO Technology Resource Center provides a series of Cyber Security training sessions.  This training will help you to learn about protecting computer systems, online privacy, and securing personal information on the Internet.

In-class Training

The Technology Resource Center provides Cyber Security Training each fall in conjunction with Cyber Security Awareness Month.  This training satisfies the IPP annual Cyber Security training requirement.  If your department is interested in scheduling an "in-class" Cyber Security Training session, please contact us at 974-5595.

Online Training

There is an online version of Cyber Security Training that is accessed through the Learning Center.  Click here to view instructions for accessing and completing the Online Cyber Security Training.

Note: It is necessary to successfully complete the quiz AND click Finish on the last screen of the training in order for the Cyber Security Training to be listed as Finished in your Learning Center transcript.
