Self-Service Password Change

Username Lookup

UCONNECT is the university portal for students, faculty and staff.  Access to UCONNECT requires a username and password.  If you need assistance in determining your UCONNECT username, please refer to the section at the bottom of this page.  If you are unable to determine your username with either of the methods available, please call 974-2255 for additional assistance.

What do I do if I forget my UCONNECT password?

You may create a new password online using the Self-Service Password Change utility.  This utility allows you to enter your UCONNECT username or UCO ID number, then answer one of your security questions or have an email sent to your currently registered non-UCO email account.  After successfully answering a security question or clicking the link provided in the email, you can set a new password. 

Not receiving the email?

Students who are not receiving the password change emails (make sure to check your "Spam" or "Junk Mail" folders) can request for their active non-UCO email address to be changed.  Those requests can be processed in-person or by FAX via Enrollment Management.  In-person requests must be made by the affected student and require a UCO ID card or government-issued photo ID.  Visit Admissions and Advisement on the first floor (south side) of the Nigh University Center for in-person requests.  For FAX requests, please include a scan of your UCO ID card or government-issued photo ID along with an explanation of what is needed, your contact information, and your signature.  FAX those items to (405) 974-3841 and allow one business day for processing.  To check on the status of the request, call (405) 974-3741.

In-person password changes

If the automated reset methods aren't available to you or if the password change emails are blocked by your email provider, you can change your password in-person by visiting the Technology Service Desk.  You will need to present a UCO ID card or government-issued photo ID.  You will then be allowed to create your new password while at the Help Desk.

How do I change my UCONNECT password after logging in?

To change your password after logging in, select the "Change Password (PIN)" option from the Personal Information Channel on the Home tab.  If you do not have the Personal Information Channel, follow the steps on “How do I set my Security Question and Answer” below, and instead of selecting "Change Security Question", select "Change Password".  You must enter your old password and a new password.  Then, re-enter your new password for verification. When finished, click the "Change PIN" button.

REMEMBER, your password must be eight (8) to twelve (12) characters in length.  Any additional characters will be truncated.  Attempts to use passwords longer than twelve (12) characters will result in failed login attempts.

How do I set my Security Question and Answer?

You can set your Security Question and Answer only after you have successfully logged in to UCONNECT.  Go to the Broncho Central Services Channel on the School Services tab.  Expand the Broncho Central Services folder, the Personal Information folder and select Change Security Question.  You will then be prompted to enter a new question and its answer.  You will also enter your PIN (Password) to verify the change.

Please note: This search will return only records where all fields exactly match a record in the database.

...use this method if you know your UCO Id number (i.e. *19283746).

...use this method if you know your Admissions Login Id (created by you when you applied for admission online).
