Breast Cancer Awareness Month at Central

Breast Cancer Awareness Week is a campus-wide initiative designed to increase awareness of Breast Cancer and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure.

Tuesday, October 13 - Tie-Dye for Tatas!

Clock Tower at Broncho Lake 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Show your support for families fighting breast cancer. Tie-dye an AAUW@Central BCAM shirt.  

October 1-16 - Breast-Dressed Contest: Get creative and show your support!

Decorate a bra and submit it by Friday, October 16th to the Women's Outreach Center,

NUC 113.


Monday, October 19 - Friday, October 23 - Breast-Dressed Contest Voting 

Nigh Tables 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Donate a dollar to vote for your favorite bra. Winner receives bragging rights and a certificate. Donations support breast cancer research.


Wednesday, October 28 - Caring Cards

NUC Food Court 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Write a few words of support for someone undergoing breast cancer treatment.
