Central has many organizations to offer, but if we don't offer one you'd like to see come to campus, you can form your own.  Below are the steps to form an organization, and if you have any questions, contact the Student Organizations Office at studentorgs@uco.edu or 974-2625.

  1. To form an organization, you must have five members- two of them are officers and the other three are members.
  2. You must have a faculty or staff member agree to serve as an advisor.  By agreeing, they agree to these terms.
  3. You must have a constitution and/or bylaws to upload on the website.  You can find a sample constitution here.
  4. Once you have all this information, click here to create your organization on OrgSync.

That’s it! Once you have completed those steps and a Campus Activities staff member has approved your organization, you are considered active.  Benefits of being an active organization include the status to request organization funding, status to reserve rooms and outdoor space on campus, and having representation on UCOSA by way of a senator spot.
