About Fraternity and Sorority Life

Fraternity and Sorority Life at the University of Central Oklahoma is the premiere opportunity for enhancing the college experience. Since the early 1950's Greek organizations have thrived at UCO and that is no different today.

UCO is home to four different types of fraternities and sororities including Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC) fraternities, National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities, National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) fraternities and sororities and Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) sororities. We are currently home to 20 fraternity and sorority organizations all with a rich history and tradition.

The IFC fraternities on our campus include Acacia, Alpha Tau Omega, Kappa Sigma, Pi Kappa Alpha, Sigma Nu, Sigma Tau Gamma and Tau Kappa Epsilon. Our five Panhellenic sororities include Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Xi Delta, Delta Zeta and Sigma Kappa. Six of the nine NPHC organizations are at UCO, including: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Our Multicultural Greek Chapters include  Omega Delta Phi Fraternity and Sigma Lambda Gamma Sorority.

Made up of organizations founded on the principles of scholarship, leadership, service, and brotherhood and sisterhood, the Fraternity and Sorority community at UCO is home to hundreds of students. Numerous opportunities exist for its members to develop their leadership skills, participate in service-learning activities, enhance their scholastic success, and find a welcoming community to call home
