Hi Everyone!

Central Pantry

The Central Pantry is a food bank open to all students, faculty and staff at UCO who need help with grocery and hygiene items. It can be found in the Nigh University Center, room 203 and will be opened Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4 pm.

Because the Central Pantry is opened  5 days a week, we need volunteers to staff the Pantry to assist those who use it. As such, we will be holding training sessions to introduce volunteers to the ins and outs of running the Pantry. Keep in mind that training is mandatory for those wishing to volunteer at the Pantry.

Interested volunteers should contact Eric Hemphill at ehemphill@uco.edu to set up an appointment. You may also contact our office, 405-974-2621, for more info.

As always, if you know of anyone who might be interested in receiving these emails, you can refer them to our website, www.uco.edu/volunteer under the tab “Volunteer Opportunities.”

Happy volunteering!
