Chris Dowling, student volunteer, helps sort donated items in the pantry storage room.
There are many volunteer opportunities available through the Central Pantry. Since opening in Nov. 2012, the pantry has been staffed almost completely by volunteers who assist with donation management, inventory, client assistance, and various other tasks. Volunteers typically serve one to two hour shifts that can be catered to fit into thier schedule. This makes volunteering at the pantry a diverse, flexible, high impact volunteer opportunity that is on-campus and focuses on helping members of the UCO community.
