The Volunteer and Service Learning Center at UCO provides diverse opportunities for students to perform meaningful service in the Edmond and Oklahoma City communities. The Center acts as a partner and resource for students, faculty and community members in developing and implementing volunteer and service learning projects. These efforts promote civic engagement by instilling a commitment to public life through communities of practice.

Oklahoma Disaster Relief

The Volunteer and Service Learning Center is calling on the University of Central Oklahoma community to support disaster relief in Quapaw and Guthrie, OK. Governor Mary Fallin has issued a state of emergency in both areas due to the extensive damage after the tornado that hit Quapaw on April 27th and the wildfires that broke out in Guthrie on Sunday. Let’s all rally together to help those in need after the devastation. We will be collecting funds to support the relief efforts throughout the month of May.

Donate to the Quapaw Citizen’s Relief Fund

Donate to the American Red Cross

• There are six ways to donate to the American Red Cross which are detailed HERE. Bring cash donations to the Volunteer and Service Learning Center located in Nigh University Center, 212. Please specify which organization you would like to support.
