Welcome to the UCO Center for Counseling and Well-Being!
The Center for Counseling and Well-Being staff works with students throughout their college experiences. Our confidential services help students resolve emotional difficulties, improve personal skills, overcome the effects of trauma or grief, decrease substance use and achieve their intellectual, personal and creative potential.
Our offices are located on the fourth floor of the Nigh University Center in Suite 402. Click here to find our offices. During the academic year, we are open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. We encourage students to walk in during business hours to talk with a counselor. Our current walk-in hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday. However, please call or walk-in if you are experiencing a crisis and we will do our best to assist you. Please contact us at 405-974-2215 (or stop by our office), if you have any questions.
If you are unsure whether counseling would benefit you, click here to take a free mental health screening. This program is completely anonymous and confidential, and immediately following the brief questionnaire you can view your results, recommendations, and key resources. For more emotional health resources, check out ULifeline, a great online resource for college mental health.
