Hanyang is one of the top 5 universities in Korea, and is called the MIT of Korea because of its strong Engineering background. It is a large campus in Seoul, Korea with modern facilities. Hanyang also boasts the only subway station located on campus in all Korea. This makes it easy for students to get around in Seoul or get to the train station to travel in Korea. There are also cultural experiences available for students studying in Hanyang to learn more about the Korean culture outside the university.
Hanyang offers semester or year study abroad as well as a four-week summer program in July. The summer program allows students to take up to 9 hours, receive university credit, and have free cultural trips. Scholarships and financial aid are available.
Faculty members also have an opportunity to teach a class in the Hanyang Faculty-led program in the summer. Hanyang offers round-trip transportation, housing, and payment to faculty members who teach a course and bring five students with them for the course.
