Arrival to Oklahoma
At the Airport
If you have been confirmed by International Services office of your airport pick up, an International Advisor or representative will meet you at the baggage claim area while you wait to claim your checked baggage. If no advisor or representative has identify themselves once you have pick up your baggage, please proceed immediately to the Traveler's Aid Information desk and wait for the advisor or representative. If you have any flight delay or cancellation, please notify International Services immediately at 1.405.974.2390 during office hour between 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday through Friday. Otherwise, please contact UCO Police at 1.405.974.2345 and they will be able to assist you.
If you are arriving to the airport outside the free airport pick up schedule, please pick up your baggage and proceed to Ground Transportation Services located right outside the airport terminal. You may hire the blue Airport Express to your final destination. For more information on airport shuttle services, please go to www.flyokc.com
Check-in to Housing
From the airport, you will be taken to your final destination based on your housing reservation. If you have confirmed on-campus housing reservation, you will check-in immediately upon arrival to UCO. If you have no confirmed housing reservation, you will be taken to the hotel or other temporary housing option.
Report to International Services Office
All new students are required to report to International Services office upon arrival to campus. Please DO NOT visit or handle other issues until you have report to International Services office. You will be given a detailed instruction with to-do-list of all you will need to complete. Bring along all your original documents which includes your passport, I-20, I-94 card and other relevant admission documents.
New International Students Orientation
All new UCO International Students are required by the US Immigration Law to attend the International Student Orientation. Among the topics covered during the orientation includes health insurance, safety, banking, cultural adjustment, transportation as well as organization involvement. You will also get to meet different campus and communication organizations that will help you with your new life at UCO. In addition to that, there will be free meal provided in addition to winning prizes such as ipod, bicycle, computer accessories, gift cards and many more. Finally, you will also begin building your global connection of life-long friends during the orientation sessions.

(All new international students for Summer & Fall 2013 will be required to attend this orientation)
New Broncho Orientation/Stampede Week
In addition to the new international orientation, there are also a series of new student orientation activities for all new UCO students called Stampede Week. The Stampede Week involved thousand of new UCO domestic and international students and you are strongly encourage to participate. Though the attendance at these activities is not mandatory, your participation will certainly enhance your personal development as new student at UCO.
