Committe on Student Conduct

The Committee on Student Conduct is essentially an appeal hearing board, which hears and considers the appeals of students who have been accused and found responsible for violating the University of Central Oklahoma Code of Student Conduct. Generally, this committee of faculty members and students (and staff members on a need basis) hears and considers appeals from students that have received sanctions that consist of one (1) of the following:

The Committee on Student Conduct also hears initial misconduct cases, in which the Director of Student Conduct delegates due to certain circumstances, such as: the possibility or perceived possibility of bias by the Director of Student Conduct and/or Case Coordinator, Title IX–related cases, and/or case overload within the Office of Student Conduct. The Committee on Student Conduct typically hears only 2-3 cases per semester. Thus, the time commitment is not great. The Committee on Student Conduct has the following time commitments:
