IMMEDIATE DANGER OF SUICIDE OR HARM TO OTHERS
If a fellow student is in immediate danger of committing suicide or doing bodily harm to others - - contact the UCO Department of Public Safety at 405-974-2345.
If you are off-campus, call 9-1-1
If you or a fellow student are the victim of a sexual assault, you are encouraged to contact the UCO Department of Public Safety at 405-974-2345.
The Violence Prevention Project Office exists to support victims of sexual assault and domestic abuse. For referrals and support please call 405-974-2224.
THINKING OR TALKING ABOUT SUICIDE
Do you know someone who seems depressed and is talking about suicide? Contact the UCO Student Counseling Center at 405-974-2215. After 5:00 p.m., or whenever the University is closed, call the UCO Department of Public Safety at 405-974-2345, or contact the hotlines referenced on the C.A.R.E. Team web site, such as 1-800-422-HOPE (4673).
WORRISOME OR UNUSUAL BEHAVIOR
Are you concerned about the behavior of a friend, roommate, classmate or acquaintance, but are not sure if the person presents a danger to themselves or others? Does the person demonstrate behavior that makes you feel uncomfortable or do you worry that something is "not quite right?" Feel free to contact the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs at 405-974-2361 to speak to the Assistant Vice President, or ask for any C.A.R.E. Team member by calling that number.
DISRUPTION IN THE CLASSROOM
Faculty members who are dealing with disruptive classroom behavior are encouraged to contact the Office of Student Conduct at 405-974-3516.
THREATS, STALKING, INTIMIDATION
If you are dealing with issues of stalking, intimidation or threats, contact the Office of Student Conduct at 405-974-3516.
If you discover, or are targeted by what you feel is a Hate Crime, contact the UCO Department of Public Safety at 405-974-2345.
WHEN IN DOUBT ABOUT WHAT TO DO . . .
If you feel you or someone else is in imminent danger, call the UCO Department of Public Safety, 24 hours a day, and mention the C.A.R.E. Team at 405-974-2345.
If you are concerned about a situation, and wish to report or discuss the situation and / or seek resources, call the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs and mention the C.A.R.E. Team at 405-974-2361.
