The Legislative Branch consists of the House of Representatives overseen by the Speaker of the House, and the Senate overseen by the President Pro Tempore. The House of Representatives and Senate are made up of representatives of student organizations as well as academic colleges to write and vote on numerous legislative statues, as well as participate in committees on specific issues. This committee shall address all issues concerning student organizations, their constitutions, and university policies that affect them. This committee shall also address House membership policies in general.

This committee shall address all matters concerning the expenditure or appropriation of student funds and the advocacy for affordable education.

This committee shall address academic issues that affect the university and shall strive to improve the academic quality of the university.

This committee shall address all non-academic issues concerning the physical development of campus affecting student life within the university, which includes but is not limited to transportation, parking, housing, green initiatives, sustainability, and campus security.

This committee shall address issues, organizations, and institutions either partially or entirely outside the University of Central Oklahoma.

This committee shall address all non-academic issues concerning student affairs within the university, which includes but is not limited to issues concerning student health, student labor, student rights, and other diversity concerns, which includes but is not limited to international students, foreign exchange programs, international student activism, sexual orientation, gender, race, or any other cultural concerns.

This committee shall be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, organizing, and executing activities and community service projects for the UCOSA House of Representatives.
