Photographic Arts

Student can pursue careers with an mass communication degree in photographic arts as portrait photographers, commercial/industrial photographers, scientific photographers, photojournalists, and fashion photographers. Students will use traditional and digital equipment to explore various techniques, such as enhanced lighting or specialized filters or lenses, to set the scene.

Modern Language Requirement (0-8 Hours)

All students completing a BA in Mass Communication shall complete the first two semesters of a second language. Students may alternatively fulfill the language requirement by proof of academic work in the second language (CLEP test through LANG 1224), four years of high school language courses, or transfer work from another institution.
