Are you interested in thinking critically about media? Then you are an ideal candidate for the Media Studies Minor! Dr. Kole Kleeman, Neely Award Winner for Teaching, directs the minor. The minor is focused on critically analyzing multiple forms of media: (1) critiques advertising and consumer culture; (2) explores under-represented groups in the media; and (3) investigates race/gender/class and media. The minor prepares students to think critically about media products and to be better producers and consumers of mass communication.
