News & Events

We have recently unveiled a new exhibit for the museum entitled The Territorial Normal School of Oklahoma.
The exhibit features information about the Land Run of 1889, the founding of Edmond, the establishment of the Territorial Normal School of Oklahoma (UCO), the construction of Old North, and the home lives and school lives of students during the time period (1890-1904).

Utilizing artifacts and photographs from the museum and UCO's Archives and Special Collections, the exhibit will offer the visitor a glimpse into the early history of our university.
