Call for Papers
Submissions are now being accepted for the 2012 International Conference on Energy Security and U.S.-China Relations. The conference will be held at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma on February 28, 2012. Several paper sessions and round-table discussions will take place during the conference.

Welcome to the Department of History and Geography at the University of Central Oklahoma. The dedicated faculty, who are engaged in various research specialties, teach dynamic and transformative courses examining the human experience and exploring the past, present, and future. We have four undergraduate Bachelor of Arts programs: Geography, History General, History Museum Studies, and History Education. In addition, we offer Master of Arts degrees in History General, History Museum Studies, and History Social Studies Teaching. The department also provides other exciting opportunities to learn and have fun including student organizations, honor societies, internships, guest speakers, and study abroad courses. Graduate Program in History
The University of Central Oklahoma's graduate program in history offers three Master of Arts degrees: the M.A. in History, the M.A. in History-Museum Studies, and the M.A. in History-Social Studies Teaching. Program offerings reflect the Department of History and Geography's commitment to the highest standards of research and writing, professional development, critical thinking and civic skills, and an awareness and understanding of diverse cultures. Fields of expertise include the histories of the United States, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. A minimum of 33 credit hours is required for completion of the graduate degree.
