UCO@125 Brings New Life to Campus
A lot can happen in 125 years, and last year was filled with celebration.
Thanks to the generous efforts of so many the UCO Foundation played a big part in this momentum. The CHK|Central Boathouse was opened on the Oklahoma River, providing more than just boat storage to the UCO Women's Rowing Team. In addition to the C. Hubert Gragg Shell Gallery, the Martha Burger Art Gallery holds artwork from Central artists and graduates. The MidFirst Bank Performance Hall, complete with adjustable elements throughout the space to allow for optimized acoustics, also features a fantastic view of the water. The CHK|Central Boathouse is a gorgeous representation of the university, right in the heart of the OKC Boathouse District.
And now we are excited to share that this new year has brought a project to life that truly brings our history as a university full circle. The Old North Renovation is in full swing with a projected completion date of Aug. 1. Students, faculty, staff and friends of the university will be able to once again walk the halls of Old North, more than a decade after her doors were shut.
