AAC’s Behavioral Health Academic Scholarship - American Addiction Centers, a national leader in addiction treatment, is offering $10,000 in scholarships for those majoring in behavioral health, nursing, counseling, psychology, social work, marriage/family therapy, or other program focusing on treating mental health and/or substance abuse issues. The need for qualified people in this field has never been greater, and these scholarships are our small way of helping those who choose to help others.
Award Amount: 1st place - $5,000; 2nd place - $2,500; 3rd place - $2,500
Submission Deadline: May 31, 2015**
Eligibility: High school graduate by summer 2015, current full- or part-time undergraduate and graduate students entering or enrolled in behavioral health, nursing, counseling, psychology, social work, marriage/family therapy, or other program focusing on treating mental health and/or substance abuse issues. Must be US Citizen.
Requirements: Submit application form with essay “Why are you interested in pursuing a career in behavioral sciences?” (800 words max.) by May 31, 2015.

A Place for Mom, Inc. - The scholarship is offered by A Place for Mom, Inc. and is for students interested in gerontology. The scholarship is open to both undergraduate and graduate students in a medical, nursing or social sciences related major. The applicant must be attending classes at the time of the spring deadline.

Army ROTC Scholarships: 2, 3, & 4-year scholarships are available to students enrolled in the UCO Army ROTC program. Applicants must be US citizen; be between the ages of 17 & 26; have a minimum high school or college cumulative GPA of 2.50; be enrolled in the UCO Army ROTC program; meet physical standards & agree to accept a commission in the active or reserve component of the Army. ASCO Numatics Scholarship: Applicant must have completed their sophomore year in a bachelor’s degree program or in a graduate program, have at least a 3.2 GPA and be majoring in Engineering, Instrumentation, Systems, Electrical, Mechanical or Automation.
Association of American Indian Affairs: Scholarships are open to American Indian and Alaska Native students who are ¼ Indian blood or more and are enrolled members of their tribe.
Belltown Chiropractic Essay Scholarship: All applicants should fill out the scholarship application and include their full name and mailing address with their submission. The submission should include a personal statement, well as an essay on the following topic: In what ways can a holistic perspective improve healthcare in the U.S.?

Charter One: Good Citizens Scholarship: What does being a good citizen mean to you? Have you demonstrated volunteerism, responsibility and leadership in your community? Do you plan to continue to make a difference during your college years and beyond? Tell us what you do and how much time you dedicate to helping others in your community and you could win one of 40 TruFit Good Citizen Scholarships with a total prize allocation of $50,000, there will be awarded (1) $5000 Grand Prize, (4) $2,500 Second Prizes, and (35) $1,000 Third Prizes.

Chickasaw Nation Higher Education Grant: Applicant must have a 2.0 GPA or higher and be able to give proof of ancestry.

Cimarron County Conservation District Scholarship: Applicant must be from Cimarron County, be of Junior or Senior status, and must be majoring in an agricultural field. This scholarship is worth $1,200 ($600/semester).
College of Liberal Arts Scholarships: The College of Liberal Arts offers a number of scholarship opportunities to students. While some scholarships are awarded to students by individual departments, there are several that are available to any student in the College of Liberal Arts.
Comanche Nation Higher Education Program: Applicant must be enrolled with the Comanche Tribal majoring in engineering and not funded by Tribal, PELL or other Federal Agency.

Fern Brown Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship program was created to provide financial assistance for the education of students who have demonstrated above average aptitude for college and university work and who, in the absence of aid from this scholarship, might be unable financially to pursue a college or university education. Each senior college or university in Oklahoma may submit ONE applicant as their institution’s representative in the scholarship competition.
Giva Semi-Annual Student Scholarship and Worldwide Community Ambassador Award: Giva's Corporate Student Scholarship and Worldwide Community Ambassador Award is for anyone attending a college or university worldwide. This scholarship grant is aimed at assisting undergraduate or graduate students in furthering their education as well as expanding their social responsibility and community service footprint in the world. There is no specific course of study or major required.

Institute of Hope Scholarship: This scholarship was developed to provide emergency funding to aid students who are caught in situations of prejudice, poverty or abuse. Applicants must be able to show financial need and be enrolled in a minimum of 6 hours. Students should be able to explain lack of access to traditional financial aid funding.

Institute for Humane Studies: Graduate and Undergraduate awards available. Student must be enrolled full-time. Also, the institute offers a scholarship specifically for Master of Fine Arts students seeking a degree in filmmaking, fiction or literary nonfiction writing, or playwriting.

National Debt Relief Scholarship: This is scholarship award is open to graduate and undergraduate students pursuing studies in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) fields.

National Association of Pastoral Musicians
Deadline: April 2016
Award Amount: $1,000-$2,500
Eligibility Requirements: NPM Membership, part-time or full-time enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program during the 2015-2016 school year or in a continuing education program, Program of study must relate to the field of pastoral music, demonstrated financial need, and applicant should intend to work at least two years in the field of pastoral music following graduation/program completion.
National Hispanic Coalition of Federal Aviation Employees: This scholarship is based on leadership and community involvement as well as financial need. Applicant must be of Hispanic background and be an undergraduate or graduate student.
OK-AHEAD: Scholarships are available for applicants with disabilities. The OK-AHEAD website lists its own scholarship as well as other disability scholarships.
Deadline: November 1 to March 1 for the subsequent academic year.
OK College Start: The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education administer several scholarships and grants to help you pay for college.
