Broncho Spirit Card Refund Choices

Getting refunds from University of Central Oklahoma gets faster and easier thanks to HigherOne.

UCO has partnered with HigherOne to offer student a new College refund card that offers innovative choices for refund delivery. Keep your eyes peeled for your Broncho Spirit Card to arrive in the mail and choose from one of the refund choices listed below.

  • Easy Refund to the OneAccount
  • ACH Transfer to 3rd party bank

What is an Easy Refund and OneAccount?
Easy Refund is a same day deposit of your refund money into a checking account called the "OneAccount," offered by HigherOne. The OneAccount is an FDIC insured checking account with no monthly fees or minimum balance, directly linked to the Broncho Spirit Card. With money in your OneAccount, you can make purchases wherever Debit MasterCard® is accepted.

What is an Instant Personal Code?
When setting up your refund preference for the first time you need to know the sixteen digit card number of the Broncho Spirit Card issued to you the first time you enrolled. If you are not in possession of that card we can issue an Instant Personal Code to replace that number during the refund preference selection process. The code is mailed to the email address of your choice, allowing you to quickly complete the setup process and open a OneAccount (and request a new card) or select ACH Transfer so that future refunds are all deposited to the bank account of your choice.

Will I be notified when my refund has been deposited to my OneAccount?
Yes. You will receive an email when your refund has been deposited into your OneAccount. Additionally, you will be able to view the details of your OneAccount online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at

What happens if I don't select a refund preference?
Without a refund preference selected, UCO will mail a check to the address that the card was sent to 21 days after the refund process began. Regardless of whether or not you anticipate receiving a refund from UCO, it is important to activate your refund preference as soon as you receive your card. After all, you never know when UCO may have a refund waiting for you.

What if I never received my Broncho Spirit Card?
Simply log on to and use the "Where's my Card" self help feature for a real time status update on your card. If you are sure that it is lost you can also request a replacement card or we can issue an Instant Personal Code when you fill out an order form available here.
