The Office of First-Year Experience Programs is focused on the success of our students. We provide numerous programs and resources and your student ID card is an essential resource on campus. Don't let anyone tell you that you don't need one. Here are just a few of the reasons that you need to make your card choice and pick up a Bronze Card or a Midfirst Central ID Visa® Check Card today: 1. Use your ID card to access the Wellness Center. 2. Use your ID card to check out resources in the Chambers Library. 3. Get free access to Broncho football, soccer, wrestling, basketball and much more. 4. Many campus offices such as Financial Aid and Undergraduate Advisement require that you show your ID to meet with a counselor or advisor. 5. Use your Central Card as a debit card at millions of Visa® locations worldwide by opening a free Broncho Checking Account with Midfirst Bank. My job is to help you obtain your Central Card or Bronze Card student ID and to answer any questions about ID card choice or about refunds through the Broncho Spirit Card.
Our Mission
The University of Central Oklahoma's Office of First-Year Experience Programs will focus on first year students as they make the transition from their high school, post high school or transfer institution experiences to the college experience at Central. The FYE Office will undertake a comprehensive array of curricular and co-curricular initiatives intended to promote an understanding and appreciation of transformative education and to assist students as they develop strategies and attitudes that will maximize academic success. We will familiarize students with campus resources and how to use them, foster the development of positive relationships between and among students, faculty, staff, and administrators, and prepare students to become productive, creative, ethical and engaged citizens and leaders serving our global community.
