TITLE: FY 2012 National Network for Environmental Management Studies (NNEMS) Fellowship Program

ITEM: Notice seeking to: Provide students with practical research opportunities and experiences in an EPA office or laboratory; Increase public awareness of and involvement in environmental issues; Encourage qualified individuals to pursue environmental careers; help defray the costs associated with the pursuit of academic programs related to the field of environmental protection, such as pollution control, science, engineering, technology, social science, and specialty areas.

ACTION: Applications are due January 30, 2012. Approximately $100,000 is available to support 10 to 15 fellowships. Fellowships are available to any associate, undergraduate or graduate student who is a US citizen or permanent resident and is pursuing a program related to environmental protection.
