ITEM: Notice of pre-solicitation to release the Fiscal Year (FY) 2012 NASA Research Announcement (NRA) NNL12A3001N entitled, "Game Changing Opportunities in Technology Development." The GCD NRA will solicit proposals for research and development in the following topic areas: Low Cost Access to Space (LCATS) Technology Development, Exploration Technology Development, Space Operations Support Technology Development, and Unique and Innovative Technology Development.

TITLE: FY 2012 National Network for Environmental Management Studies (NNEMS) Fellowship Program

ITEM: Notice seeking to: Provide students with practical research opportunities and experiences in an EPA office or laboratory; Increase public awareness of and involvement in environmental issues; Encourage qualified individuals to pursue environmental careers; help defray the costs associated with the pursuit of academic programs related to the field of environmental protection, such as pollution control, science, engineering, technology, social science, and specialty areas.
ACTION: Applications are due January 30, 2012. Approximately $100,000 is available to support 10 to 15 fellowships. Fellowships are available to any associate, undergraduate or graduate student who is a US citizen or permanent resident and is pursuing a program related to environmental protection.
