Welcome to the University of Central Oklahoma Department of Nursing!   We are excited to have you here!

The first nursing class from the nursing department at the University of Central Oklahoma graduated in 1972.  Since that time we have sent at least 2000 well qualified RNs into the nursing work force!  Graduates of our program are well known for being some of the best nurses in the state of Oklahoma and around the nation and we are proud to continue this tradition.

The core of our program is the traditional four year Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  We also have a career ladder program for RNs who want to complete their Bachelor's degree as well as LPNs who want to obtain their Bachelor of Science degree in order to sit for the RN nursing licensure exam.

 We hope that if you are looking to begin your nursing career, or if you are wanting to continue your nursing career with a BS, you will strongly consider the University of Central Oklahoma's Nursing Department.
