UCO Exhibit To Feature Artwork of More Than Two-Dozen Former and Retired Faculty

The University of Central Oklahoma will open a wide-ranging art exhibit titled "Reflections" featuring the work of more than two dozen former and retired art faculty members from 4-6 p.m., Thursday, April 8 in the Donna Nigh Gallery at the Nigh University Center.

On display will be a broad variety of styles ranging from oil, watercolor, mixed media, fiber arts, glass, ceramics, serigraphy and 3d sculpture.

"The visual diversity presented in this exhibit is truly outstanding," said Zina Gelona, director of Galleries and Collections at Central.

"It reflects the exceptional artistry of our former and retired art faculty. They are a very gifted group of artists and art educators who have inspired many students and given so much to the university."

Among the artists to be featured are Frank Simons, Pam Husky, Cletus Smith, Don Narcomey, Gail Sloop, Bert Seabourn, Connie Seabourn, Adrienne Day, Elia Woods, JoAnn Adams, Marilyn Adams, Elia Woods, Dean Hyde, Marty Bernich, Alyson Atchison, Denise Gleason, Tom Simonton, Jim Watson, Jon Ulm,
Denise Wynia-Weidell and Sharon Heath.

The exhibit, which runs through May 30, is free and open to the public.
