The University of Central Oklahoma Department of Design will open an exhibit titled “Masters of Design: A Showcase of Graduate Level Student Work in Design” with a reception from 4-6 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 23 in the Donna Nigh Gallery Exhibit Hall located on the third floor of the UCO Nigh University Center.

The exhibit will display graduate level student design work that focuses on innovative problem solving in graphic and interior design.  Adam Gault, Melissa Santana, Brock Wynn, Xiaoqian Dong, Guanqun Wang and Steven Treadwell, award-winning Central students pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Design, are the featured designers in the exhibit.

“This exhibit will provide the opportunity for community members to see the great work that our students are creating as a part of the only M.F.A. in Design program in the state,” said Ruki Ravikumar, M.F.A., chair of the design department and director of the M.F.A. in Design program.

“We are very proud of the caliber of work that comes out of this program and the many awards that our M.F.A. students have won in the past two years attest to this high quality,” she continued.   

The exhibit will be on display through April 23 and is free and open to the public.
