Summerstock Productions to Begin Season Ticket Sales

Summerstock Productions Inc., a partner with the University of Central Oklahoma, has announced season tickets for the summer 2010 season of "Oliver" and "All Shook Up" are now on sale through the university's Mitchell Hall box office at (405) 974-3375.
Season ticket prices are $20 for adults and $10 for students in grades k-12 and college students with ID and includes admission to both productions. Children four and under are free. Patrons may either use a credit card when ordering by phone or pay by cash or check at the box office window, located at the northeast corner of University Drive and Main Street in Edmond. The box office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Individual show tickets, available the night of each performance beginning at 7:30 p.m., are $12 for adults and $6 for students in grades k-12 and college students with ID. Children four and under are free. Tickets purchased at the Mitch Park Amphitheatre must be paid for by cash or check. Credit card payment is not available.
"Oliver!," based on the Charles Dickens' classic about a lonely orphan who runs from an oppressive workhouse and falls in with a gang of youthful pickpockets, will be performed during the three weekends from June 17 -July 2. The musical will be performed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights with the exception of the final weekend which will be presented on Thursday and Friday only because of the Fourth of July holiday.
"All Shook Up," an original story inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley will be presented during two weekends from July 15-24.
Auditions for the two musicals will be April 10-11 in room 104 of the UCO School of Music building. Auditions will be held from 10-6 p.m., Saturday, April 10 and from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday, April 11 and will be open to all performing artists in the area.
