The University of Central Oklahoma's Department of Dance will present a showcase of original choreography by senior dance majors at 7:30 pm, Dec. 7 in Mitchell Hall Theater.

The concert will feature "Standing Still" by Brandon Fink of Oklahoma City, "I Am Here for You" by Yukari Yoshioka, a native of Japan and "LIVE.D.EVIL" by Gina Foxhoven of Oklahoma City.
 
"I am very excited about the work the students have created, and it is thrilling to see the culmination of their studies in the dance department come together in this capstone experience," said Jill Priest, Central assistant professor of dance.

"They have taken great care in the crafting and expression of their work and are anxious to see their works in full production for an audience."

As their capstone experience, the students had to organize and produce all aspects of the showcase including choreography, costume design, program/poster design, production and promotion. In addition, they had to organize all technical rehearsals, dress rehearsals, technical needs, crew and set up.
