The University of Central Oklahoma's School of Music will celebrate the holiday season with a choral & orchestra concert at 7:30 p.m., Dec. 3 at Mitchell Hall Theater on the UCO campus.
The holiday concert will include holiday classics like "The Nutcracker Suite," "Ave Maria" and "Fantasia on Christmas Carols" performed by UCO's Concert Chorale, Cantilena and Chamber Singers as well as Central's Symphony Orchestra, featuring guest soloist, cellist Aleksa Asanovic.
Asanovic is cello professor, soloist, pedagogue and director and founder of the cello school in Montenegro. He was the first Montenegrin cellist to perform important cello parts throughout Europe with 40 different pianists and conductors.
