"This concert is one of many firsts," said Lori Alspaugh, director of development for the UCO College of Fine Arts and Design. "This will be the inaugural performance in the CTL recital hall, the first public debut of a recently donated Steinway by the Brisch family and the first time Kuleshov will perform '12 Preludes' by Alexander Scriabin."
Kuleshov, a first prize winner at the Pro Piano International Competition and a Silver Medal winner at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, will also perform Suite on M. Mussorgsky's Opera "Boris Godunov" by Igor Khudoley and Transcendental Etude No. 4 "Mazeppa" by Franz Liszt.
The CTL recital hall is an intimate venue and since seating is limited, early reservations are encouraged. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased through the UCO Mitchell Hall Box Office at (405) 974-3375. Directions to the CTL may be found at www.uco.edu/resources/campus_maps.
