Did You Know?

Taniqua Ward's abstract submission, "Body Composition of Older Adults: Muscular Power," was approved for presentation for National Conference for Undergraduate Research on March 29-31, 2012 at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. Taniqua is an Exercise & Fitness Management major. The National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) promotes undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity in all fields of study. The annual conference gives undergraduate scholars in all fields and from all types of institutions of higher learning a forum to share the results of their work through posters, presentations, performances and works of art.


Scholarship applications are now closed.  The college thanks all of our students for participating in the College of Education & Professional Studies scholarship awards process.  The scholarship selection committees are currently working to determine awards. 

All students who applied will be notified if they did or did not receive an award via their email no later than March 28, 2014.

All students who receive a scholarship award will be invited to attend the College of Education & Professional Studies Honors and Awards Banquet, Friday, April 18, 2014 at 4:30 p.m.6:30 p.m. in the University of Central Oklahoma University Center Ballrooms.  All awardees will be required to RSVP to attend the event. Light hor’ dourves and refreshments will be served.  

**Students receiving scholarships must attend the banquet in order to receive their award. Students will be notified at that time of the amount of the scholarship award.
