Technical Support

The college Technology Team provides support for CEPS faculty and staff desktop computers, computer labs, PASS-PORT, and related systems. If you need help but you aren't sure whom to contact, see below.

I need help with...

Classroom Technology

• Technology or media in a CEPS classroom
• Scheduling a class in the collaborative classroom (EDU 206, EDU 214, EDU 113)
• Installing software for use in a classroom
• Requesting in-class SMART Board, WebCT, UCONNECT, or Microsoft Office training for my students
• Purchasing a video to show in class
• Making technology or audio-visual accommodations for students with disabilities

Computer Lab Technology

• Technology in a CEPS computer lab (EDU 110, EDU 112, EVH 007, HES 206)
• Scheduling a CEPS computer lab for a class
• Technology in a CEPS departmental lab (EDU 309 WAH 004)
• Installing software for use in a lab

Faculty/Staff Office Technology

• Office computer (monitor, printer, office software installation, etc.)
• UCO telephone or voice mail
• A departmental laptop or other departmental computer

PASS-PORT Electronic Portfolio

• Using PASS-PORT
• Obtaining reports from the PASS-PORT system

The Website

• The CEPS website (anything with a URL beginning with http://www.uco.edu/ceps)
• Posting an announcement (to the website, Facebook, the display in the EDU atrium, etc.)
• Adding a new "Did You Know" to the website (See existing submissions here)
• Updating my CEPS Directory page
• The university website (anything outside of the CEPS website)

• UCONNECT
• Desire2Learn (D2L)
• Connecting to the UCO wireless network (wi-fi)
