Giving to Good Shepherd through UCO’s College of Education and Professional Studies

The Good Shepherd Catholic School at Mercy is a collaborative project developed with support from the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, Mercy Hospital and the University of Central Oklahoma – College of Education and Professional Studies.

Financial support from the public is needed to support UCO students completing required practica experiences to support the learning needs of students with autism and similar neurological disorders at the Good Shepherd School at Mercy. These experiences are critical in enabling our students to apply the theories, concepts, and principles of their chosen field to the world of work and often lead directly to employment upon degree completion.

Many of our students who choose to complete their required practica at Good Shepherd have no other source of income therefore it is imperative that we work to raise funds that will enable us to provide these students with a semester stipend that will enable the student time to focus only on the task at hand... working with the children.

If you or someone you know is interested in helping us with this effort, please contact Judy Reyes-Henderson.
