The Multicultural Education Institute is committed to the recognition of excellence in Multicultural Education. Each year the Multicultural Awards Committee selects a recipient for the Teacher of the Year, Citizen of the Year and Paraprofessional of the Year Awards. The recipient will be honored at the Multicultural Education Institute Banquet on March 1, 2013, at the University of Central Oklahoma.
