The College of Education and Professional Studies Curriculum & Instruction department is hosting "Johnnie’s Night" fundraisers every third Tuesday of the month, starting November 20th to benefit the Dr. Mari Scott Endowed Scholarship in Curriculum & Instruction. Diners can eat at any of the six OKC and Edmond area Johnnie’s locations anytime of the day from open to close and mention UCO or the name of the scholarship and the college will earn up to 20% of sales on those days.
The Department of Curriculum and Instruction offers programs of study leading to the Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. These programs provide high quality preparation for the teaching profession. This department also offers Graduate programs leading to a M.Ed. Early Childhood Education or M.Ed. Elementary Education and the Bilingual Education/English as a Second Language graduate credential program provides the student an opportunity to complete a state-approved course of study in this area while completing any teacher certification program.
