Previous experience has been with children's programs as a teacher, caregiver and trainer of child care providers. Expertise with infants, toddlers and preschool children and in teacher training through classroom lecture and laboratory environments.
PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS: My philosophy on implementing a program for preschool children is providing a developmentally appropriate curriculum and environment. Here, the child's individual needs can be met through appropriate experiences and their total development can be enhanced. My interest in working with students to become competent child care professionals is strong. I encourage them to develop their own teaching style and to develop as a child care professional.
