Elaine L. Martindale, M.S. (University of Central Oklahoma, 2001) has been a member of the Donna Nigh Department of Advanced Professional and Special Services since 2010. She was the speech-language pathologist and clinical supervisor at the Oklahoma School for the Deaf Edmond Regional Preschool at UCO, as well as an instructor in speech-language pathology from 2010 until 2014. In June 2014, Mrs. Martindale took over as the Clinical Coordinator for the speech-language pathology program.
She received her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) in 2001. She received her B.S. in Speech-Language Pathology with a minor in Vocal Music Education from UCO in 1999. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is also licensed by the Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, and holds an Oklahoma teaching certificate.
Upon graduation, she accepted a position with Edmond Pubic Schools as a speech-language pathologist in an elementary school where she remained until 2010. In 2009, she received the Gwen Cacy Award from the Oklahoma Speech-Language-Hearing Association for excellence in clinical skills.
