General Information

Veronika Karpenko, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Central Oklahoma. Before coming to UCO, she taught for two years at the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv, Ukraine. While at the Ukrainian Catholic University, she helped develop a student counseling center.

Her research interests include examining the process and outcome of psychotherapy. She has conducted several studies on clinically significant and meaningful change in psychotherapy.  

In her clinical work, Dr. Karpenko applies evidence-based psychotherapy processes and interventions to work with a wide range of adult clients, including clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, and relational difficulties.
