Rod Edwards is the Manager of Technology Services for the College of Education and Professional Studies.
Rod received his Bachelor of Arts in English with Departmental Honors from Oklahoma State University in 1995 and his Master of Arts in English with Presidential Honors from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1997. He had the honor of being named the Outstanding Student for the College of Liberal Arts for 1995-1996.
Before coming to UCO, Rod worked in a visual arts library developing digital resources for art history educators; a metro-based center that focused on math, science, and technology education for students grades 4-12; and then with professional education accreditation teams at the state level. He came to the College of Education and Professional Studies in November of 1999.
Rod completed both the Leadership UCO (Class III) and the Advanced Leadership UCO programs. He has been a member of the UCO Safe-Zone Ally Program since 2001. Rod has also been honored to receive several awards from the college, including the CEPS Staff Award for Outstanding Service in 2007. In 2014, Mr. Edwards completed the UCO Management Development Program and was honored to speak at the graduation event.
Off the clock, Rod supports his parents’ technology issues . . . which takes up more of his time than you’d think.
