General Information

Kelly has been employed at UCO as an Assistant Professor of Early Childhood Education since 2008. In addition, she currently serves as the Program Coordinator for ECED. Kelly's ongoing research efforts are focused on constructivist practices in pre-k and primary classrooms, as well as teacher induction and teacher development. She is passionate about teacher candidates' knowledge and ability to advocate for best practices in classrooms. Kelly was honored by being selected to deliver the keynote address to the National Association for Early Childhood Teacher Educators during the summer of 2011. She currently serves as the Conference Vice-President for that group; she is an active member of NAEYC, ECAO, and NAECTE.
