Quotes About the Program

"If I had to sum up in one word what makes this program unique and a step above my undergraduate studies is the word, 'EXPERIENCE'... In each of my classes I have gained valuable insights from not only the instructors, but also many of my classmates. That is an intangible that is difficult to get from a textbook... My understanding of Secondary Education has been immeasurably increased by the 'real life' stories from those who have worked in or are still teaching in the classrooms of our local communities." - Wayne Petree, M.Ed.-Secondary Education Graduate, May 2009

"UCO provided me with an opportunity to grow as a student, and also as an educator. I learned countless practical ideas that I could use in my own classroom. I loved the small class sizes, and the professors went out of their way to support, challenge, and inspire me." - Jessica Wise, M.Ed.-Secondary Education Graduate, Summer 2007
