Kappa Delta Pi
Kappa Delta Pi (KDP), an international education honor society for education majors in all programs. KDP is a community of scholars pledged to worthy ideals such as: recognizing scholarship and excellence in education; promoting the development and dissemination of worthy educational ideas and practices; enhancing the continuous growth and leadership of its diverse membership; fostering inquiry and reflection on significant educational issues; and maintaining a high degree of professional fellowship.
The UCO Kappa Delta Pi chapter, Gamma Omega, undergraduate selection is based upon a 3.25 or better grade point average, completion of at least 50 hours of coursework, and completion of at least 12 hours of education courses. Graduate students must have an overall grade point average of at least 3.5 and completion of at least 12 hours. Membership selection occurs in the fall and spring semesters with invitations issued to eligible candidates. The following are the faculty sponsors of the Gamma Omega chapter:
