Master of Adult and Higher Education - Interdisciplinary Studies
This major provides the student with preparation to work in a variety of disciplines that allow a non-specific master’s degree and desire an area of specialization. This major allows students to develop expertise in a subject area (e.g., safety, English, history, etc.).
Admission
To apply for admission into the M.Ed. in Adult and Higher Education, candidates must complete an online or paper application, found online at the Jackson College of Graduate Studies webpage. Applicants must also submit official copies of all transcripts from each college or university attended.
To be eligible for full admission, candidates must have:
- an overall undergraduate grade point average of 2.75 or higher OR
- a grade point average of 2.75 in the last 60 hours attempted
Applicants who do not meet the above criteria may be eligible for conditional admission if they meet one of the following criteria:
- an overall undergraduate grade point average of 2.5 OR
- an overall undergraduate grade point average of 2.25 with five years having passed since the date of the first bachelor's degree
