The Journal of Transformative Learning invites original manuscript submissions, on an ongoing basis, that address curricular and co-curricular elements of transformative learning from a theoretical or an applied pedagogical perspective. The editors encourage submissions that explore active and reflective learning experiences in the areas of discipline-focused and interdisciplinary research, scholarly and creative activity; leadership; service learning and civic engagement; global and cultural awareness; and the learner’s intellectual, psychological and physical development. Submissions that incorporate student voices and responses are particularly welcome.
The journal follows a blind review process. Submissions should be received by January 15 to ensure consideration for the Spring publication and by July 15 to ensure consideration for the Fall publication.
The Journal of Transformative Learning also invites submissions of book reviews and short notes on teaching and learning strategies and findings.
