The concept and process of Transformative Learning continue to be at the forefront of discussion and research in the Higher Education community. The future of Transformative Learning has immense potential to change the delivery of education and move students toward a more complete and universal learning experience. This year’s conference theme is centered on the collaborative and innovative processes institutions must engage in to organize and quantify this dynamic learning paradigm. Join attendees from across the country and around the globe to share ideas, practices, and successes in mobilizing resources to create transformative learning experiences and to consider best practice in assessing these experiences.
During the conference the information gathered and processed will again serve as the foundational pieces for the Journal of Transformative Learning, Volume III. This peer-reviewed journal is housed at UCO. Conversation leaders will team with writers from each session to create and formulate articles for submission to the journal. This allows for conference discussions and innovative concepts to be captured and presented in a manner appropriate to advance the ideas presented during the conference.
Dr. Vincent Tinto, conference keynoter, renowned researcher and author on student success and persistence, will speak on, "Student Transformative Learning Does Not Arise By Chance.”
