Strategic Planning Products

From Sept. 17 through Oct. 8, consultants Dr. Connie Foster and Ms. BethMarie Ward met with some 570 persons in focused workshops to establish a practical vision for UCO's strategic plan to be launched on Jan. 1, 2013. These included meetings with faculty by college, staff, students, deans, assistant and associate vice presidents, executive directors and directors, external partners, and the President's Council. The products of each of those sessions are linked below.

The document "Strategic Planning Report Phase One" is a summary document that describes the synthesis of our nearly 20 workshops. As you review the Practical Vision appendices please note that a numerical value attached to a statement is an indication of in how many separate constituent sessions that issue cluster was raised. The summary document was presented to the Cabinet on Oct. 8, 2012. Based on these documents, UCO's strategic planning process will now enter a second phase, which will be to operationalize the outputs of the sessions to include priorities, action steps, timelines, champions and budgets.
