Passport to England News

  • UCO's Passport to England Features Interactive Shakespearean Show
  • Mark Silcox, Ph.D., will host a live re-creation of "Would I Lie to You?" — one of England's funniest and most popular improvisational game shows — at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, in Pegasus Theater, Liberal Arts;
  • A screening of "Shadowlands" — a film about C.S. Lewis, world-renowned professor and author of "The Chronicles of Narnia" and "The Screwtape Letters" — will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, in Pegasus Theater, Liberal Arts. Lewis led a passionless, unfulfilled life until he met spirited poet Joy Gresham, whom he married in 1956. Directed by Sir Richard Attenborough, the film stars Anthony Hopkins and Debra Winger; and,
  • A British Invasion Dance Party will be from 8 p.m.–midnight Friday, Sept. 21, at the ACM@UCO Performance Lab, 329 E. Sheridan in Bricktown. A free bus for students will leave from the Nigh University Center portico at 7 p.m.
