Tai Chi is a form of martial arts primarily practiced for health benefits, including stress management, balance, and flexibility. Tai chi is characterized by soft, slow, flowing movements and can be practiced by anyone. This tai chi program was facilitated by certified instructors Dr. Sara Cole and Dr. Ed Cunliff.
Broadway Tonight "Stormy Weather: The Lena Horne Project"
College of Fine Arts and Design
Live narrative from author James Gavin ("Stormy Weather: The Life of Lena Horne), vocals from music legend Mary Wilson (The Supremes), and actual film footage from Lena Horne's career helped interweave an exciting, appealing multi-media concert production that followed the life and music of this American icon.
