Tutor Hours
English & Writing
The Academic Support Center provides free tutoring services in English and Writing. All of the tutors at the ASC are trained and must have a high level of proficiency in the area in which they are tutoring. Writing tutors can assist you in the preparation of term papers for all classes. But remember, they will not do the work for you, they will guide you in the right direction but it's up to you to complete your own paper.
Tutoring sessions are 30 minutes in length, and students must schedule an appointment. You may schedule two tutoring sessions per week but not on the same day. Students are expected to arrive on time and you must call if you cannot make your appointment or if you want to cancel your session. Consistent "no shows" will not be allowed to schedule future tutoring sessions. You must sign in and out of the Writing Lab before and after your tutoring session. To schedule an appointment, call 974-2487 or come by the Academic Support Center in Thatcher Hall, room 114.

Mathematics
The Academic Support Center provides free tutoring services in all areas of mathematics. All of the math tutors at the ASC are trained and must have a high level of proficiency in the area in which they are tutoring. Math tutors can be especially helpful to you, if their is a specific area in which you need help. For appointments please call the Academic Support Center at 974-2487 or come by Thatcher Hall room 114.
